Andrew has been an independent tourism and heritage consultant since 2008. He brings 22 years extensive UK wide experience in projects from Cornwall to Perthshire and Northern Ireland to Kent. As an Archaeology Graduate and Postgraduate in Tourism Management his professional credentials include Tourism Society and Tourism Management Institute membership, as well as the Association of Heritage Interpreters.
Andrew’s previous career has been rooted in tourism and research within consultancies: with L&R Consulting managing the Midlands’ office; as senior researcher at BMG Research; and Head of Research and Development at the Heart of England Tourist Board, as well as starting life as a consultant at PHT Tourism Consultants.
When away from the day job, Andrew enjoys travelling and exploring new places, supping a good pint of real ale in a rustic pub, or going to folk festivals as well as developing his skills in landscape photography.
